In chamber of Examinations:

NCF 2005 by NCERT Emphasizing to lesson to the burden on students, be it the Syllabus/ Education System. Acting on the same guideline KSEEB / CBSE has introduced the system of CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) from Grade I to X. Taking guidelines from the same School has developed its own examination structure . In this structure / System, the Students are continuously and comprehensively evaluated throughout the year. The overall goal of assessment is to be improving students' learning. Evaluation provides Students, Parents and teachers with valid information concerning Students Progress.

Evaluation requires the gathering of Evidence of Students performance over a period of time to measure learning and understanding. Evidence of Learning could take the form of Project presentation written and oral, Seminars, dialogue, written tests along with many other learning tasks. We use the general term " assessment" to refer to all those activities under taken by teachers and by their students in assessing themselves , that provides information to be used as feedback to improve teaching and learning activities such assessment becomes and FA's (Formative Assessment) and SA's ( Summative Assessment ) is actually used to adopt the teaching to meet the students needs.

The written tests are compulsory for every students of the school and no request for re-organizing is entertained. In classes I to IX , the whole curriculum is divided into two terms and in each term; two Formative Assessment and one Summative Assessment along with this pre-test will be held before Summative Assessment-2.

Hence, up to the end of the session a child takes four Formative Assessment, 2 Summative Assessment, One Preparatory i.e. Pre-test. Both Assessments consists of 50% each of the Final Result for these classes. Final Results for class 10th is prepared by the board itself.

Scheme of Evaluation:

For Class I to VIII

Two Formative Assessments and One Summative Assessment are conducted in each term.

Term 1: FA-1 (10%) + FA-2 (10%) + SA-1 (30%) = (FA + SA) = 50%

Term 2: FA-3 (10%) + FA-4 (10%) + SA-2 (30%) = (FA + SA) = 50%

Grand Total: Term 1 (50%) + Term 2 (50%) = 100%

For Class IX

Two Formative Assessments and one Summative Assessment are conducted in each term,

Term 1: FA-1 (10%) + FA-2 (10%) + SA-1 (30%) = (FA + SA) = 50%

Term 2: FA-3 (10%) + FA-4 (10%) + SA-2 (60%)

Here SA-1 is not considered for Final Result (FA-1 + FA-2 + FA-3 + FA-4 + SA-2) (10%+10%+10%+10% +60%) = 100%
